Today i played my 1st couple of games of snooker in poolians and this is my thoughts on it,
The balls are far too dull,
The aspect ratio from the cue ball to object ball is wrong as the cue ball is far too big in comparison to the object ball, AT is much better for that
The cue ball speed is too fast for the power put through it
The background is horrible it looks too much like * which is even worse in all the above comments.
Other than that i think it's going to take a bit of getting used to

OY, again I see a post about snooker in Poolians. I go to Poolians, the game updates, I go to practice room, I right click a table, I see a list of games, but not snooker. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Thanks,

vanwinkle

Ike, there is another update but it hasn't removed snooker again, it's still there.

Vanwinkle , try to push the snookerbutton on the left side below ...

That's the way into it.

Today I played my first games of snooker in Poolians.

It's not real snooker. The table is too small for that, whole's are too big and only 10 balls.

Never the less I like it cause it's more like a big poolgame and it's much easier then real snooker.

So anyone can win I think on this table from even a more experienced player.

That's the whole concept of Poolians I think.

It's not my conceirn but I thought snooker was going to be included in our premioum membership.

I have noticed it's not and we are not premium members out there.

So do we have to pay again to become premioum in snooker now Guan ?

I thought it was included.

GROMIT say's that's life and I shouldn't take it too serious just pay more and shut up.

Don't moan about everything ...

Ok np I'm sorry if I ever brought this up ...

Just tell me when to pay and how much for premioum membership at Poolians snooker.

Ok i have been back into snooker on poolians and i still don't like for the same reasons i already stated also the table is the wrong size, for it to be the right size it has to be either longer or narrower i'm not quite sure which, also there's no depth to the graphics.
Guan could u remove the game bar timer please and give us time limits on each shot instead like in AT after all snooker is a longer game and we should not feel under pressure to take shots so quickly, also could we have the colour indicator like in AT i know there's that silly little box in the top left corner but it really needs to be in the bottom left where we can see it more easily.
Last comment for now why can we only play 10 ball and not 15 ball snooker just because we're not premium?, i didn't notice any restrictions on games playable in the pool side.

Oh yes i forgot to say when i was talking to my opponent i mentioned flim flam box and all that came up was *********** i didn't realise it was offensive language    so please guan credit us with some kind of decency and only blank out the swear words anyway snooker on AT is still by far the best out there.

I think it's a pool table, pockets are huge for snook but I think the table has been lengthened, seems longer than a pool table. I like Poolians snook better than AT, particularly if this is the table which will remain, I do love those big pockets, lol. I also love the baize.

Points for Guan to consider improving......
1. Ball brightness....the light coloured balls are good, pink and yellow are easy to see.....dark coloured balls are very hard to see and need considerable brightness points applied, reds, black, green, brown, blue. At some positions it's difficult to distinguish which colour you're shooting and when fused to the rail the black blends into the rail, very hard to see. The balls need to have a lot more reflection, glassier.

2. Rail shots....balls bounce out off the rail unless you're right behind the object ball and can shoot a straight line, I've tried everything but nothing works.

Again you have to use the black background and put away all graphic's ofcourse otherwise even Popeye or Addie won't be able to clear the table in time. If the game takes too long it doesn't matter if you are leading with a 100 points you will lose the game when the blue timebar run's out. But ofcourse we can't moan or say anything about this Addie ... We are moaning again like G.R.O.M.I.T would call it and some others. And by the way Addie you can't use the word "silly sock box" here in forum. It will be deleted against this evening.

The table is too wide for the length i just looked again real tables are 12ft x 6 ft the table in poolians looks more like 7 or 8 ft wide or is it too short if so it's only 10ft long, also the baize in the wrong shade of green it should be darker like in AT, well at least the real tables i play on are and yes the pockets are too big for snooker and all the balls except pink are too dark which is a bit light.
Swanie have u got yr brightness too low cos i don't see what you're seeing.

Guan, you asked us what we wanted for snooker at Poolians. We told you that we wanted a real snooker table -- the right proportions - 6 x 12 feet, right sized balls and real snooker table pockets. You said you would do that. You have not done it. You have basically done nothing that we asked for. I will never pay a cent to play snooker at Poolians. It's worse than Arcade, because it is still a pool table, and the graphics are terrible and the "feel" of play is not as good.

I cannot understand why you lied to us about making it real snooker. This is just VERY disappointing, especially making promises to people who bent over backwards to support you in spite of the buggy software, insane rules and massive lack of support at Arcaded. VERY disappointing indeed.

Rod

 Listen up everyone ! This is a good one !

Just came back from playing a couple of games with my friend Ilkerulas. If you make a foul or a miss the white ball just stay's in position. So if it's snookered basicly you get a free snooker for your opponent missing on red or a colour ...

The table is a standard pooltable if you look close at it Addie and Swanie.
With the wholes a little bit smaller but still way too big for snooker.
This increases the amount or number of scratching !
We scratched white all of the time !
Balls are way too big for snooker too.
But I don't think this was ment to be real snooker though ...
Whatever ... we can't whine or moan about any of this ofcourse ...

Just pay and don't take it too serious like G.R.O.M.I.T. would say.
We are not paid members after all ...
That's life !
Even if it was promised it was included.
Well it's not.
These are G.R.O.M.I.T. 's words btw not mine ...
