Guan,

Snooker still isn't right.

A foul has just been called on me after potting a brown ball following a red.
Yesterday my opponent did the same with the blue and a foul was also awarded.

Johnny, I am not sure, but this sounds like a very old bug in the game...You know the yellow indicator arrow that automatically nominates the color you aim at? (Lower left corner of screen)... Well, sometimes, when aiming, it will turn off for just an instant as you move the mouse. Only for one pixel on my monitor...If you shoot at that moment, the shot will be called a foul.

(I experience this at least once or twice a day, but I have trained myself to look for it before I shoot, so I don't incur the foul.)

The only solution is to ALWAYS look bottom left, and be sure the arrow is ON when you shoot color.

This is, in effect, the same situation as when you play the cueball rail first (cushion first) into a color; you must nominate the ball, (space bar) or the arrow will not be lit, and the shot is a foul.

I said "the only solution is to ALWAYS look bottom left" but the other solution is for Guan to fix it!

I can't be sure, but I am betting that this is the problem you are having. Give it a look, at least.

(Of course, on occasion, you can pot your color, and also a red, but the screen angle does not allow you to see the red...happened to me last night, lmao.)

Thanks Ike, will do.

Must admit I only look at that arrow when I nominate a colour if I am snookered.

Do you look for that when your opponent is at table too? In one of the instances I have seen I played a deliberate foul to give him back the table, assuming he was incorrectly called a foul.

It's not ideal having to check this for every shot.

Actually, I don't look when opponent is shooting, but I too will return the table to him if it happens. And yes, it's not ideal to have to look each time, but I've gotten so I do it automatically. It would be nice if it were fixed, but honestly, with all the major improvements Guan has made for snooker these last few months, I consider this a minor flaw.

Arcade Tribe snooker, still the best in my opinion.
