Guan i'm sorry but the game is not right, and has not been since the update i have spoken to and played the top players on poolians and they say the same thing the balls just don't run true since the update, i have watched very good players miss easy pots because of it,try rolling a ball down the cushion its hopeless, straight shots are ok but when you see a very experience player miss easy pots then something is very wrong, it was great before the update (apart from the banking) please have a look at it and speak to some of the players the ones that have played pool for a long time, if you want me to show you just play a few games with me

Hi, Keri, what do you mean 'rolling a ball down the cushion'? I would like to investigate this problem.

I find some top players set the cue stroke sensitivity to high to achieve better breaking effect, but it makes pacing control harder. I suggest you set the cue stroke sensitivity to 3 ( value of the last version in fact).

Guan what it means is if you have an object ball on the cushion/rail and you hit it to roll it down the cushion/rail to a corner pocket the object ball will not roll as it should it should cling to the cushion all the way and go into the pocket but on here it seems to roll and go away from the pocket leaving it stopped over the pocket, Nadim and i tried it today and he had the same trouble and these are the easiest shots in pool just watch american 8 ball pool players on youtube they never miss rolling it down the cushion it just seemed to change after the update, and also the speed of the balls have changed the white moves faster making it difficult to gain position, believe me Guan after playing online for 7 years you notice when something has changed, at first i thought it was me but several other players have found the same thing

Guan, I doubt the problem is with the cue stoke setting, I've played newbs who wouldn't know about this setting and they can't pot anything. In fact this hasn't happened since this sensitivity setting was implemented, it happened after that, in the very last update. What Keri is talking about is rail shots, if you shoot a ball down the rail it veers off when it gets to the pocket. I've also noticed that if you put any kind of cue adjustment such as draw, forward or spin the ball wont go in if it's not shot softly.

As being number 1 in Poolians I have to totaly agree with both statements here and Swanie you have brought it under words beautifuly and very good judgement. But Keri is right. That's why I don't do railshots anymore in Poolians. It will bounce against the corner of the other rail lying still just before the cornerpocket in perfect position for the other player to pot it. As a gift or present for the enemy ...
I try to avoid railshots as much as possible now. They used to go in all so beautifuly. Nowadays it may go in if it's very close to the cornerpocket as Swanie said before. But I would rather bank it into the pocket across the table (which is a very hard shot by the way ... ) then taking on the railshot and loosing game set and match ...

I guess you could take number 1 position real soon if they keep booting me out of ET each time I play well like 3 times in a row and in one day ... Saying it's the server that chrashed but nobody else got booted ... Always me just after winning a lot of tournaments the day before ... I have asked all topplayers about this ! Noone got booted this way ... I was in 15-ball final yesterday and winning it. Last occured events have made me think wether I should still participate if they boot you out in final anyway and you get no rates or points as a refound. I'm realy not enjoying the game anymore like this and I can't play my best game in ET if it goes like this. With in the back of your head you can get booted anytime now anyway ... Even if you are winning ... This is all very fair play don't you think ? But hey ... Obnoxious ! You could even get to number 1 position playing and faking to be a "guestplayer" back in Poolians ! I think a guestplayer will become number 1 real soon back there. They are allowed to participate ET's there and they just come in and play all topplayers to peaces into the final and sometimes win it. These so called "guestplayers" don't pay, don't get booted and get rates for winning finals ! I've seen guestplayers over there with like 160 rate or 180 or more ...
