I’m not one to usually respond to such nonsense, however as a paid member of this site for 3 years, I have seen my fair share of complaints, and I find that I just don’t feel like pushing them aside anymore.

I don’t believe that Guan closes accounts as he pleases. There must be a reason for his actions, and not just a matter of him not seeing what he likes. You have to remember he is technically the boss here, so if he wanted to he could, but as I said in 3 years I have seen a number of players rightfully banned. Almost all of those players have the same philosophy as you. However that does not make you right. Basically you are blaming him for banning you for something you must have done wrong. Take some responsibility for your actions.

You bring up the fact that this is a paid service. Yes it is and that is all the more reason for Guan to protect his clients. If there are paid customers not playing by the rules or treating others fairly or abusing their privileges, then Guan has every right to ban them in order to provide security to his other paying customers.


If you want a site with no rules or mods go somewhere else like yahoo or pogo, or whatever those other sites are. Arcade Tribe is a site where there are rules and respectable people, and the proper authorities to see that it stays that way. I have to say I respect and applaud the work that Guan and the mods do to keep the environment of this game respectable.

Magic mandy if that really is the case please explain why this player was banned, he was 1 of the most polite and respectable players ever to play this site, he never abused anyone nor was he rude to anyone, in fact he always gave newbies a chance as winning wasn't that important to him

1 of my accounts was also banned when i had done absolutely nothing wrong.

Also why does guan allow guests to abuse us and we can't even block their chat, mods have no tools they can use except boot in et so he's certainly not looking after his paid up members.
for your information obnoxious is actually a very popular member in snooker and i have to say he has a very valid point here.

I cannot speak as to an individual players situation, especially when I am not aware of that player or their behavior. Although I used the word you many times, my statements in my previous post were in general and not directed at an individual player. As for guests, I do not believe that Guan intentionally lets them abuse players. There was a time when mods had the tools, however because of some ridiculous complaints of some mods abusing their privileges all of the mods had to suffer by losing some of their abilities. I believe that Guan tries to listen to his clients the best he can, however he isn't going to satisfy everyone 100 percent of the time, it's just not possible. Anyway, I'm done with this conversation, I've said my piece.

AMEN!! Great post, although I disagree with Dave being banned and a few in the past, in general Guan's doing the right thing, we are human and make mistakes and I along with most of the community hope Dave remains "GOD" here for the present & future

Dave is one of the few here who make a lot of people laugh, he's not nasty just funny and now that he's only playing 147, the practice rooms and et have become really quite boring now.
Ask yourself this how many players do you know who even when beating their opponent will quit the game and give the win away, unless of course you're a rate hunter
Those of us know how he can be quite loud and outspoken sometimes but AT wouldn't be the same without him.

Now all i want to know is where did ALL his posts go , most of them were amusing and removing them has messed up so many threads

Kevvy both Bart and Dave are legends i've had the pleasure of meeting both of them and they're both top blokes and 2 of the few players i miss now that Bart is banned and Dave is fed up of the idiots.
When i started playing here about 2 1/2 yrs ago they along with john were the 1st friends i made here, had it not been for them i'm sure i would have got bored long ago.

I still can't believe that someone like Bart could ever be banned, there's something seriously wrong in doing that, find just 1 person that can say Bart was either rude or unpleasant then fine but as you won't then why ban him?
